Last Day at Sea

With the wedding now over and the tightly scheduled day on Cozumel Holly and I were looking forward to a little rest and relaxation, a day without plans.

We slept in a bit, had a lazy breakfast on the edge of the boat watching the blue gulf waters wash past us. It was great. Around noon I decided to try out the miniature golf course on the top deck with some of our new friends from the wedding party. After a few phone calls we had a group of six of us ready to play some mini-golf.

There was an added element of difficulty with this particular course given that it was on a boat. As the boat rocked a bit from side to side the balls would change course which made for an interesting game. There was plenty of kidding and good natured competition and on the last hole I choked and Holly came out the victor.

We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening relaxing either on the deck, in the cafeteria, or in my case editing photos for the slide show after dinner.

It was a great relaxing day and one of my favorite of the cruise.
